Airbending: A Study in the Lazarus Taxon

Hypothesis: Given the ambiguous nature of bending genetics, the cultural significance of the moniker "nomad", and the prodigious mobility of airbending, it is highly improbable for the Fire Nation to successfully render an entire gene pool extinct. Therefore, there is at least one other airbender. This study will focus on one such singularity known as Ty Lee.
