Saudade

A retelling of Gaskell's classic. There might be a 100 ways to give John and Margaret their happy ending. Let this be the 101st. :) Saudade- a nostalgic longing for someone or something that was loved and then lost, with the knowledge that it might possibly never return, aka a love that remains.
