Summary
What do you believe in? Beatrice Prior and Mimette Malachite have never been satisfied, and both are so afraid that they never will be. Their aptitudes being unclear sets them on a path away from everything they've ever known. Somewhere beyond them lies a darkness that is coming for everyone, and soon both girls learn that they may never be able to go back home.
