The Hour After

The dust has barely begun to settle in the aftermath of the Battle of Hogwarts when Hermione leaves the castle to return the Elder Wand to Dumbledore's tomb. As soon as she gets there, though, she discovers that she is not alone. It is only through the resulting conversation with her unexpected companion that Hermione begins to truly accept the end of the war.
