In the middle of her second year, Akko wandered across Luna Nova on a fine winter's night in a tired, depressive state. She stumbled across Diana, who promptly scolded her for being out of her dorm at nightfall. But Akko can't ignore the burning coal in her throat any longer. She asks Diana if they can talk privately. So Diana takes Akko up to her room.
