Defected

Sometimes there is one defining moment in a person's life that changes everything. Draco Malfoy had wanted to defect long before that fateful night at Malfoy Manor when he'd chosen to help the Golden Trio escape his family's clutches. Hermione Granger didn't care when or why he'd jumped ship. She was just grateful that he had. She probably had one less scar now because of him.
