The Cold Ones

Jacob warns Bella against Edward. This is a rewrite of the scene almost as it appears in the book, but Edward has something different wrong with him. I was supremely annoyed by Meyer's use of vampire mythology (for which she has no respect) as a device to keep her star-crossed lovers apart, so I decided to insert another, scarier way their love would be impossible. Please review!
