A mission comes in with a celestial key as the reward. Lucy really wants the key, but she needs another mage to go with her on the job as its to defeat some lightning monsters. She'd ask Erza, but she's out of town. So, next best thing is to go to Laxus. He agrees and they learn some interesting things out on this job.
