[Erik/Eleven, eventually] - It's not like Erik wants to die. It's just that he doesn't want Eleven to die, and if the only thing he can place between El and danger is himself, then he'll do it, without hesitation. Or, 10 times Erik puts himself in harm's way for Eleven, and one time it's the other way around. (Will include spoilers for the entire game).
