After the Last Battle, StarClan gave the four Clans powers over fire, plant, earth and frost, powers to protect themselves with. All goes well for the longest time. But when the Clans start to care only about elemental powers and pure lines, the gifts are used for war. Perhaps what started it was a few messed up kits.
