Safe and Sound

The night in the forest was dark and quiet. Nearby, in the small, Gaulish village, everyone lay asleep in their beds; no one stirred. Crickets chirped and frogs gave a deep thrum every so often. Everything seemed calm...but, as everyone knows, things aren't always as they seem... (NOW BEING REWRITTEN AS OF 2/9/2016!)
