Eilis is a selkie, a magical creature that spends 21 years of its life as a seal, and can shed its skin and become human. Her Changing comes, leaving her on land for three weeks as a human. Lucius Malfoy acts as a witness to her Changing, and Eilis finds herself an unwitting pawn in the Second Wizarding War. Will Lucius's feelings for the selkie get in the way of his duties?
