Harry Potter was adopted by his godfather in November of 1981 and has lived with him ever since. After his mostly-canon first year, though, Sirius pulls him from the school. Ten years later, Harry returns to Hogwarts, renews acquaintances, and has a date with destiny. Eventual Harry/Hermione pairing. AU, one-shot.
