Summary
Above occupied Poland, the sky is tainted ashes and snow. In a dark alleyway are rags and ripped flowers. Underfoot there are puddles and pavement, everywhere there are scars: a city torn apart by war. And on this cold November morning, a German officer encounters a young Polish girl whom he may be able to save from it all.
