Meara, a creature of the Black Lake, reflects upon her past as the Final Battle of Hogwarts takes place. She reflects upon the lessons, miseries, friendships, and heartbreaks as the battle unfolds. As it inches closer and closer to the end, she does all she can to hold onto what she loves most deeply.
