Feel Again

Hermione was still hurting from Bellatrix's torture at Malfoy Manor. She's alive, or at least that's what they keep telling her, but she is numb. She sits in a rocking chair next to the window. The rain is falling, and it is dark and cold, but she can't feel it. All she can do is to keep rocking herself, trying to keep from slipping away.
