It's been a year since the destruction of the androids. Rebuilding has been difficult, but it's going. Still, it's hard to say if the world has become any better. While the rich and powerful tighten their grasp on the larger cities, gangs and murderers run rampant in smaller ones. In a world with no friends and no laws, it becomes harder for Videl to remember not to give up hope.
