Takes place instead of Season 7. Castle's car has just caught on fire and Beckett believes her fiancé was in it. A new case comes up and Beckett throws herself into it... trying to distract herself just like she did when her mom died. But Lanie discovers some shocking information. Is Castle alive? If so, where is he? And will Beckett be able to rescue him?
