Summary
A band of vermin leaves their horde to find a better life in the south of Mossflower. They eventually make it to Redwall Abbey where they attempt to make peace with the woodlanders to survive the winter. Both woodlanders and vermin despise working with each other but with the desperation of winter and a common enemy can they find a way to live in the shadow of their enemy?
