Left disabled and parentless in Moscow, Christine is taken in by the star performer in a travelling carnival, a magician with a face like death but a voice like an angel's. The intertwining of their lives takes them across Europe with a circus, where they learn to face the darkness in their own hearts and the light in each other's. E/C. Kay-based AU. WIP.
