Ever since he nearly lost his creatures to a political fanatic, Newt gave Theseus an ultimatum: should he ever be incapacitated again, the case would immediately fall into his brother's care. Theseus hated that plan. He had little empathy to spare for slobbery, potentially lethal crawlers, and he would sooner face a thousand dragons than outlive his brother.
