Mr. Darcy was too busy to visit Netherfield, and he feels guilty that Mr. Bingley married a woman (Jane Bennet) who no doubt was only after Bingley's money. Darcy's unusual sister, Georgiana, finds Miss Elizabeth Bennet a delightful companion.
