Gate: Thus the American Empire fought there

The American Empire had conquered most of the known universe. There was very little it hadn't conquered. The Mechas, Rock'tal, and Kaelesh were no exception to that rule. On one of the Deuterium processing and harvesting worlds, A gate opens. At the same time, in a different universe, a gate opens in Japan. Are both Japan and the Special Region ready for what awaits them?
