A Vow Of Eternal Sufferance

Love they said, it cures all, now he knows why it's called a fall, on the ground he knows it burns, a hatred the other more than earns, yet make a vow he did and swore to love the other forever more. And thus their sufferance begins to blend, alone he wishes it all would end. (Not as dramatic as the poem suggests but still depressing, not much of a choice on that with these two.)
