Jack can't resist watching over Elsa, it's something he's done since he found her as a little girl. He's a guardian, he had to watch out for the little girl with ice powers like his even if nobody talks about ice in Arendelle and as a result there isn't a single kid there who can see him. He watches her grow up, checks in now and then, and well... that's how he meets Kristoff.
