Second chances were marvelous things. Second chances meant a new start, or forgiveness, or self-growth. Second chances meant becoming a better person or learning from past mistakes. Second chances were not supposed to mean reliving one's life with an overpowering sense of déjà vu and impending dread, yet here she was.
