Summary
Her eyes fluttered open for the first time in hundreds of years, alighting on the strange man who released her from her prison. A gasp, followed by a heartbreaking wail, was the first noise emitted from her long petrified throat. She was free, and while it wasn't the sweet release of death she imagined, it was a chance to live a life that was stolen from her so long ago.
