Summary
Bambi's mother stands watch as her son and his father meet for the first time on the meadow. She remembers the rut the Great Prince fought for her and her heart swells with pride as he crosses the field to see Bambi. Their little prince. The brief reunion, however, is tainted by the coming of Man.
