Luca is a boy in exile. He lives in Victorian-Age France, across the channel from his own kin. He is a bastard of the ancient and noble House of Black, and on his fifteenth birthday, he leaves him home and decides to do whatever it takes to reunite with his family. Along the way, he meets many people who help him shape the western European wizarding world for the better and worse.
