Scientific Breakthrough

By all accounts, Shard should have been permanently offline, but he wakes up in his room, unsure of why he survived. He thought Metal Sonic had damaged his Power Gem, and his body is still in disrepair. As the answers become clear, he's almost unable to believe them, even when spoken to by the hedgehog whose acknowledgment he always wanted.
