There are some drawbacks to growing up a Weasley, even if these are peaceful times. They are still a bunch of kids maturing around each other, learning how to love and hate and use their magic for good purposes only — y'know, the basics of growing up. And the adults are more than happy to watch their children get what they never had: an ordinary upbringing. Or something like that.
