In the not so distant future of another Mobius; Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik and his son Dr. Eon Robotnik have the world of Mobius ruled under an iron fist. Tails struggles to keep The New Freedom Fighters together with Sonic, Shadow and the Chaos Guardian Rage MIA. It is up to the next generation of heroes to recover the Chaos Emeralds and free Mobius from the grip of tyranny.
