d'Artagnan is a lone wolf, his pack is dead. He's running from his pain and grief, desperately not wanting to be part of a pack again. Athos is an alpha wolf and packleader who doesn't want a mate. He catches d'Artagnan's scent and cannot resist following it. The full moon brings them together, the next morning brings needed conversation.
