Summary
The events during Sozin's Comet take a darker path. The Phoenix King has succeeded in slaying Avatar Aang and the world despairs at the loss of their only hope. In the aftermath of tragedy, Katara and Zuko must escape the Fire Nation before they are killed or worse for their involvement in attempting to end Ozai's tyranny. (Short story)
