The Heart of Gold had the Improbability Drive installed inside of her. It would, improbably, take a third parallel universe with Ford, Zaphod, and Trillian being the reason that Rose goes from her second parallel universe to her first, to her home. To the Doctor. The Heart of Gold, you see, is actually quite proud of herself for that improbable feat.
