In this cyberpunk AU, a cybernetically engineered college student named Shepard faces prejudice and distrust in a time when biomechanical human enhancements are still a controversial issue. Initially trying to maintain a low profile existence, she finds herself swept up in an Alliance mission to infiltrate and shut down Cerberus, the very corporation that gave her this warped life.
