Summary
A pair of Soviet cosmonauts find themselves trapped on a planet far from home, used as a breeding site for a parasitic alien species by a mysterious humanoid race. Survival is no guarantee, but the cosmonauts are determined for their persistence, wit, and training to pay off as they team up with a rogue alien guard to get back home.
