Vlad Masters wanted Danny to look up to him, to see Plasmius as a teacher and a friend. However, time and time again Daniel had elected to ridicule and battle him instead. Danielle was the key to the son he wanted, but that venture had failed. Yet something anew could be derived from that failure. Maybe, just maybe, a true son could be made?
