He wanted to change the system they lived in. To allow people like Mai, Maki, and people like Toji to thrive with their own talents or desires. Naruto wanted to become a grade even become Special-Grade to work alongside his ridiculous cousin to change how the world worked. Naruto Uzumaki, 'Defect' of the Gojou Clan, wanted to put a bit of a positive twist on the Jujutsu world.
