Laura swears off magic for the holidays... That is, until Carmilla invites her to the The Masque of Saturn, a supernatural masquerade ball. What Laura doesn't know is that during Saturnalia everything that "is" becomes upended; slaves become masters, debtors become rich. The real question is, what do snarky vampires become? And more importantly, what will become of Laura?
