Magic Intervenes

Magic flows differently on Samhain night, and when the Potter are murdered, the Potter Family Magic decides to step in to protect its heir. Helen Skerritt, a muggleborn witch undertaking a mastery in Runes, is unwittingly swept up in the chaos. If she'd known all the trouble a simple magical communion would have wrought, she wouldn't have done it. (Ok maybe if she'd research first)
