Jackson was trying to figure it out. He was trying to be a good surgeon, father, son, friend, ex-husband even, so when he invited his ex-wife to join him on a trip to Boston for the annual Avery/Fox gala , mostly to help with Harriet, he really hadn't anticipated how quickly things would go to hell.
