A young woman named Jeanette falls down a hill and hits her head; when she wakes up, she finds to her horror that she has turned into a fox, and the forest she is in looks nothing like her backyard! But a big deer stag tells about a thicket with a mother doe and her fawn where Jeanette may stay. Jeanette soon shares a close bond with Bambi, the fawn, and watches him grow up.
