Lily Potter messed up the ritual. Instead of protecting Harry FROM death, she protected him WITH death. Years later, an undead Harry escapes the prison the Dursleys put him into. Now he's back, and he's pissed. NOT A DARK SOULS XOVER. It just inspired the title. M for violence and swearing.
