The McDonald-Venturi family spends the Spring Break in California and they meet another blended family in San Diego: the Parker-Nichols, Drake and Casey start going out and Derek befriends Josh who will help him to sabotage their date and sort out his feelings for Casey. Megan and Lizzie will become friends at some point.
