We Ride at Dawn

A year after Renee leaves Charlie in Forks, she’s living with her mother in California. Renee is walking with Bella in the evening air when she’s brutally attacked and left for dead. Garrett, smelling the scent of fresh blood, comes to investigate the pleas of the dying human. Upon arrival, Renee takes her final breath and Garrett finds himself wrapped around Bella’s little finger.
