What really happened when Bilbo encountered those three trolls? An idea of why the trolls in Bilbo's story were not quite as scary as the trolls in LotR. (Written in 2008 for the LOTR Gen-Fic Community's October Challenge) This is AU, but it is a BOOK-BASED AU! One-shot. Rating for trollish violence.
