500 years ago, the Riders were reformed by Eragon, Arya, and Murtagh, their new home a far off land. Now those who founded it are tearing it apart, both sides trying to force the other to submit to its ideologies, Eragon and Arya holding strong to the old ways, Murtagh believing the only way to save the people of Alagaesia is to establish marshal law.
