Violet's life was nothing out of the ordinary. She had a steady job as a field nurse and working part time at the local Brooklyn hospital. Her life was simple. However, it all changed one day when she bumps into the intriguing and intimidating James Barnes, Brooklyn's notorious mafia boss and is introduced to a world of guns, lust and dominance.
