It shifted in Astronomy, with the stars shining high above when he chose the unoccupied seat next to mine. It continued with Austen when he gave me my first letter. He was unwilling to give up on our love, even with oceans between us, and dreams that didn't quite intersect. He then made me a promise of forever.
